Flamenco

Everyone heard about flamenco. Also everyone knows that it’s a Spanish music and dance. Actually it was originated in Andalusia (part of Spain) and next adopted by other regions of Spain. While adopting this dance people started to experiment and now we have different types of flamenco. When listening to the music you discover that it’s integral part is Gypsy’s language. It’s because Arabs and Gypsies live in Andalusia around Spanish people so they were the one cultivating the flamenco at the beginning and their language lasted till this days in flamenco songs.
In Barcelona you can see flamenco shows in Palau Musica Catalana or Palacio de la Flamenco. I was at Palacio de la Flamenco and to my surprise I enjoyed it more than I was expecting it. I made some videos,so you could also see a part of the show. However seeing it with your own eyes is completely different thing. Hence if you ever have a chance to visit flamenco show don’t hesitate to go!
